I'm actually gonna disagree with the anon above me about how significant sex is to the plot. While the element of sex is certainly there, I feel like you could completely remove the sex-game aspect of Tanagura and it would still be almost the exact same game, just with a very strong emphasis on power dynamics (which aren't even inherently sexual in the game, seeing as mongrels and elites hooking up is socially taboo). I'm actually finding some problems with disconnect, where the sexy events feel a little out of place amidst all the politics and terrorist plots.

But so far, the game does have a lot of plot going on, which is something I feel most sex games in the past have lacked. So I wouldn't call it a bad thing.

i agree with this. i like both aspects of it, but they do feel a little disconnected from each other at the moment. i'm having a blast with both the sex and the plot, but i feel like the game's still trying to find its balance.

that said, it is really refreshing to be in a sex game with a plot.
