The thing about big popular games, anon, is that they're always going to have the most wank. The problem is that people are petty, and the higher the population the more chance there is that someone's not going to be happy with something.

People have fun in this game. If you can keep up, and if you can follow instructions you'll have a good time. Everyone wants to be a part of this, except not everyone can be. People want to be in the game because it's popular and because their friends are, but not everyone can keep up with the pace. Then the game has IC rewards for characters which is fun, but just like in real life there are going to be those who are jealous when they don't get something someone else does.

The game has its problems. Every game does, but ones that are this structured can be particularly difficult to manage. And then it suffers from the same things that any large game suffers from. If you're chill, you're probably fine and you'll enjoy yourself, but there's always going to be a vocal group who will never be satisfied, then those who dropped who keep watching this thread to pipe in with their own comments, and trolls who just enjoy stirring things up in large games.

The pace has been even faster than usual lately, so I'm not surprised you've seen people on your timeline complaining or being worried about keeping up. It can be harder to pace yourself and still seem involved. We're due for some down time soon so hopefully that will help people relax.
