rpanons is an anonymous community for role-play related topics. This place serves as a forum for game discussions, canon discussions, RP solicitations (ATP, game ads, open memes), and advice. The occasional off topic comment is inevitable, but please keep heated social and political topics to their respective communities. Posting them here will only get them frozen. Subsequent threads made to bypass a freeze will then be deleted.

Tbh I'd be a crap mod if I went it alone. Much as I'd like to be the change, I know I wouldn't be able to get a decent plot rolling at a pace that will keep players interested. If I knew someone else was definitely stepping up with me, I'd give it a go.

it's super assinine complaining about how you want better replacement mods when you admit that you'd be no better at the job.

it is a stupid argument for some things, but not really for something like this. you're all in a game together and presumably you all want it to keep going. the mods you originally had can't do it anymore. if you are going to bitch about it closing, you have two options: nut up or shut up.

because at that point it only has a chance due to the fact that someone is willing to spend a huge excess of effort on something that's already dying.

making a dying game work is way harder than starting a new one. with a new one people are willing to join because they don't have prebuilt negative associations. toiling away trying to fix something that people have already written off as a dying game is damn near impossible.

so unless you personally are willing to work harder than the mods that just quit, you really should shut up.
