Too slow

Rundown: [community profile] rpanons is an anonymous community for role-play related topics. This place serves as a forum for game discussions, canon discussions, RP solicitations (ATP, game ads, open memes), and advice. The occasional off topic comment is inevitable, but please keep heated social and political topics to their respective communities. Posting them here will only get them frozen. Subsequent threads made to bypass a freeze will then be deleted.

Rules:

Do not post pornographic or shocking images.
Do not share private entries, plurks, chat logs, etc.
Do not use this community as your social/political/hatespeech soapbox.
Do not be redundant. One page does not need three or more threads on one topic/theme.
Do not treat this comm like your personal Plurk or Twitter. Off-topic happens, but it should be open for discussion and not just a play-by-play of your life. No one cares.

the mods punish proactive characters by putting them out of play for a week?

the way i see it is it's a twist no one would expect. naveen tripped major protag flags, so we expect him to be investigating, leading everyone, keeping them hopeful. instead, he's taken out early for maximum despair. if he wakes up (since someone COULD use the opportunity to kill an easy target) and finds while he's been asleep others have died, it's another obstacle for him to overcome, as he'll feel he's failed them. meanwhile, it's a test to the others to see if they can step up.

i quite like it. i love that the games tend to have a protag or small group of protags that emerge, but in this small group, they have less time for everyone to develop. snatching the protag from the rest of them means they'll have to push this week, and that's really an interesting move.

I didn't think of it like that, but you're right. Sounds like it'll be an exciting week!

I hope it's not Naveen on the chopping block this time, I would like to see it play out like you described.

I'm actually curious to see the dynamic without Naveen there, since he tends to be at the center of things (not a bad thing, the player is an excellent writer). This is a really good narrative twist to the game. I especially like how it ties into what Naveen said during the last execution.

Is it Friday yet???
