I'M SO GLAD, ANON! i was afraid the app cap might make people reconsider playing in the TDM but i'm glad you've decided to join our insane ride. i hope you make it in this round, but if not i hope you try again next round, which may have no cap (hopefully!)

potential apper here with a quick question for you guys! i recently (read: this weekend) found out about cdc, devoured the supplementary information, and have totally fallen in love with the idea of this game after reading past mission logs/threads/etc. i'm confident that i'd be able to keep up with the pace and tl;dr nature of things, but i'm a little worried about arriving so late to the party.

do any current players or those who have participated in past TDMs think it would be out of place for me to jump into the second half of the TDM and tag around without having taken part in the plotting post beforehand? i doubt i'd post a top-level comment (feels weird to do so without drumming up prior interest or contacting people oocly first, but that's a totally unjustified personal hang-up and has nothing to do with you guys, obviously) but i really love tagging out and replying to others. if so, i have no problem waiting until the next round of apps opens.

not at all anon, not everyone bothers with plotting things out and there are plenty of people who will end up making top level comments (both new and old players) so there should be something for everyone to tag

I think you have the right attitude, anon! It'll be much easier for you to jump into other peoples' stuff without plotting, but even so, I know some newbies that jumped in without much plotting since it definitely helps, but it's not required.

personally, I don't think there's anything wrong with jumping in without plotting ooc first, as long as you're aware of what's happening. we get a lot of top levels, so being interested in tagging around is a really good attitude to have.

don't worry about that, anon! plotting beforehand helps because this first part of the TDM is so structured and there are mission objectives to achieve etc but now that the directives have been set out, everyone's welcome to play within that scope however they wish!

and if you're joining us for the elder god fight, i don't think anyone's plotted anything aside from whether or not they want their character to jump into the space vagina/try to fight the elder god, so no prior plotting required.

i see no problem with just tagging around too. can't wait to see you <3
