rubbing black coffee on bee stings! we used to do it a lot where i'm from, but when i was working in a summer camp in america and showed them that trick they just stared at me like i was insane. "let's just take the kid to the med centre" why?? they won't do anything there but black coffee will make the sting calm down really fast

I use baking soda or a penny here.

I think the caffeine in coffee helps metabolize the venom?

we used to use baking soda mixed w/water into a paste and slap that on.

tobacco works like a charm, too, but it has to be wet.
