Comments like the ones in this thread ARE why so many games end up kind if generic and similar, though. People pile in to sigh about an aspect they don't like until the mods cave and make it optional in order to appeal to those players that really, really love everything but won't app because of that one thing, not realizing that some other people were apping because of that thing in the first place.

If you want to make a discussion about a potential non-smut game that is similar, post it under Game Ideas or something. Doing it under the game's advertisement is pointless, somewhat rude, and comes off as trying to strong arm the mod into making changes. Not every game will appeal to every player; that doesn't mean you have to comment and tell the mods that you don't like it, even if you're complimenting other aspects of the game.

This. Even if it wasn't intentionally rude, it's still pretty unclassy to come into a thread and ~*sigh*~ about how you'd totally join, if not for (insert integral setting element here).

There will be other games. In the meantime, you don't have to undermine someone else's effort just because it doesn't cater 100% to your tastes specifically.
