I'm so satisfied with everything about the OP/ED (and this new ep in general). I know they're a lot less frenetic and lots of people don't like the new OP as much, but they nailed the sense of foreboding and the foreshadowing for me.

It took a long time to happen, but everything about how David Production is handling this series goes above and beyond, and I'm so happy.

TBH, I think that this OP is the weakest of the four so far, but I don't think it's BAD. It deffo captures the feeling that Egypt Saga has and the triple "ORAORAORAORA" at the end is great.

I agree with you that David Production is doing everything right. I mean, some episodes could have easily been condensed into one episode (or even half; The Sun didn't need a full episode), but I'm really enjoying it, especially the little extra bits they throw in here and there. I'm hoping that Part 4 gets greenlit because I feel like they could really do that well.

one of the animation directors of the current season posted drawings of giorno, abbacchio and prosciutto on their twitter before they deleted it with the tweet along the lines "if you want a part 5 and more, buy the discs"

make of that what you will regarding what's gonna happen with part 4.

they did part 1, it'd be extremely stupid if they skipped part 4, especially since while it's not as popular as part 3 or 5, it's still a fairly beloved part. They could also do it well enough with just 10 episodes, so skipping it outright would kinda weird

it read to me as "we've done part 4 already, now anything beyond that is dependent on sales" but that's cause i'm optimistic at heart about jojo as a whole

I think they said as recently as last season that Part 4 hadn't been greenlit. I hope they get to do it, though. Supposedly, it's one of Araki's favorite parts and, IMO, it has some of the best characters.

iirc they said that it would depend on dvd sales and the fans support of the series, so I'm hopeful for part 4 (it's my favouirte, my butt would be extremely devastated if they skipped it)

i think araki threw a major shit over the original part 3 ova so i think he'd completely go insane if they skipped over animating his favourite part, with his favourite jojo and his author avatar

Did he? I'd heard he hated the Phantom Blood movie done by the same studio, but I didn't know about him hating the Part 3 OVA.
