heyyy it's the same anon who asked when apps reopen in the last post. so far everyone's been saying it'll be Feb/March but more realistically March/April. is this game worth waiting so long for?

app rounds are usually every two months, I doubt you'd be waiting until April. March is more likely considering Macha doesn't start until the end of January.

Considering how much happens in game it's unrealistic for apps to happen more often. Just look at the calendar and past ones and you'll see how much happens game wide.

this is the reason why i said last post that you're probably looking at march/april app round. it's been hinted everywhere that mission macha is going to be a lot worse than mission ajna (which was the training planet too) so no one really knows how intense the following months will be. best bet is to expect the app round to happen later rather than sooner.

whether or not it's worth it is ultimately up to you, anon. take a prod at the comms and comments and measure for yourself--if you think it is, we'll still be here when apps open, and if you don't then there's games with faster rounds

it all comes down to preference and patience in the end. like other anons have said, app rounds are sensitive to game activity and plot, so they're probably not getting any more frequent anytime soon

seconding the above anon that it comes down to you. the game is REALLY interesting but also really involved, so if you don't keep up you might drown in all the info and everything else that's going on. it's a positive that there's always something to do, something to tag into, something to figure out. but that's also a negative if you don't have the time/ability/commitment to invest enough into the game. more so than any other games i've been in, consignment ICly rewards characters who are more involved in the game's overall plot and not just by handwaving interactions and role in required missions, so you do need to log things out and write things out (see: black box training)

speaking for myself, i waited some 2 months for apps to open and this game has exceeded all my expectations, even if i had high ones during the wait. hope you join us but i understand it's not for everyone. hope that helps, anon!
