Quick inquiry, fans! If I wanted to play Rincewind from the first and second PC games, would that be okay or is it extremely crucial I read the books too? He seems to have a good bit of characterization in the games, but I'm wondering if that would be enough to reliably go off if I wanted to play him.

Never played the games, but if you're going to play him without reading the books, mark your meme tags or app as specifically from the games.

I've not played the games. But keep in mind that there are a lot of fandom injokes people are going to assume you're in on.

i would consider them different universes. if you want to read the books to have some extra info that's fine, but as long as you clarify you play from the games you shouldn't have any trouble.
