i'm trying to take a look at the game to decide if apping or not... i get why cr memes are locked (mun contact information) but why is an event log locked?

Potentially for whatever disturbing content might happen? Since there are no rules for the five days it lasts, all crime and such may happen and be pardoned. I don't know if anyone has anything like this planned, but there's the possibility. And since everyone's getting slammed there might be some NSFW content too, I guess.

Or the mods made a mistake while posting, I don't know. But... why does it matter? It's one log out of how many...

they put in the description of the post that there could be sex and violence and a bunch of other things happening in the threads which people can/should warn for, but it's just a CYA move to lock the post to the game. and like the other anon said, missing out on one log event out of however many there are shouldn't really be a deciding factor on if you want to join or not.

especially as this isn't even really a particularly important event to the game overall

everyone's all psyched and making a huge deal about it, but the samhain thing only happened at all because so many people wanted a halloween ball and the mods just went with it

aaah that makes sense, thank you both. about the deciding factor you mentioned, i have to disagree though. personally i don't mind but there may be people who won't apply if they're uncomfortable with some kinds of content in a game.

If dubious content is a concern bear in mind this is a war game and does not flinch from that. Two pc characters have been icly tortured that i know of, for example
