Oh man what a cute image! Is that pretty much the extent of "full" changes for characters? To the point that they're still kind of recognizable but monsterous? Or full 100% monster form is "full"?

That's totally up to you! All of the monsters have a limited enough required changes list that the character could remain recognizable if you want, but there's very few to no restrictions on aesthetic kinds of additional changes so long as they don't give your character any powers or abilities they wouldn't normally have. So a vampire might be anything from the bare minimum changes of eye color and sharper teeth to a twisted batlike unrecognizable creature of the night. There was an art meme a while back where people swapped drawings of their monster concepts, so that's a good place to get an idea of what some people have been doing.

I opted for fewer physical changes with this Link cause due to his experience with transformation masks during that whole Majora debacle, body horror doesn't bother him so much, so instead I'm focusing on the 'giving in to monstrous instincts' portions to drive his conflict.

NEAT, also I like that duality of playing with the physical changes as much as the mental/emotional, etc, ones. For Groose and his vanity and ego, the physical changes alone would be really impactful I think, especially with how he changed in SS it'd be like poetic irony almost. Thank you for the info!
