I almost exclusively follow the old characters I used to thread with back when the game first opened. It was too fast for me, but it still warms my heart to see all the development.

I'm 90% sure the Sherlock is the same, and I don't think anyone else even plays Amal from the Less Than Epic webcomic, so it's safe to bet that's still them. I think that's the player who got gurospammed during the big Box wank.

it was when the mods flounced to their own cliquey sandbox with their super favorite players and the amal got an invite

so the gorespam was either a player who didn't get an invite being buttinflamed at someone who had, in which case i sincerely hope the gorespammer dropped OR it was one of the old mods or their friends giving themselves something to point at like 'see?! we left this shithole for a reason!'

the player didn't deserve it though. she is absolutely sweet and also a great mod now

You forgot the best (by which I mean worst) part. The gorespam was of dead dogs. Amal's player is a known dog lover and studying to be a vet.

I didn't know the old mods very well, but none of them struck me as the type to set up some weird false flag gorespam.

Besides, it happened right after someone namedropped Amal-mun on WG. My money's on some anon hoping to stir the shit.

Seriously. If it was anyone else, maybe I'd be less sure, but Amal is one of the most liked characters in the game and the player is 100% drama free. Gore spamming her was guaranteed to cause the most backlash. My timeline was flooded with people angry about it, even the ones who don't usually participate in this stuff. Anon picked their target well.
