I've been getting nostalgic recently anons. Tell me about your now long gone roleplay pleasures.

My favorite time in roleplay was when I was in a game with an villainous character that was all about having fun for the sake of it. He picked up a best friend with similar interests and the two were utterly evil but also true friends. They formed a big posse of villains that they bankrolled and hooked up to do favors for one another, just to watch the world burn. It was a lot of fun.

i used to ship a lot - a lot - and then my character found an unlikely best purely platonic best friend and it was really fantastic, one of my most fun rp stints. they terrorized people together and were generally just really horrible and dramatic and i loved the both of them.

-many moons ago, i used to be part of a group rp called "the hot tub" that... was set in a hot tub. usually it was just filled with smut, but some downright hilarious things happened there sometimes. also the smut itself was pretty funny, too. ever see a swampert fuck a lawyer? i laughed so hard at that.

-i also used to rp the child vegeta from the bardock special and i dont think i had more fun playing a character ever. my brother once brought his king vegeta muse to the party and what happened after that was hilariously awful because his king vegeta was such an asshole [not that my vegeta was much better]

i could give you a million stories about that vegeta honestly

i think one of my favourite moments was when the pet cat of someone's character pounced on vegeta's wriggling tail and he actually got into a fight with the fucking cat.

the only other child character was a recently-turned vampire who was honestly a sweetheart and wanted to be vegeta's friend so badly but vegeta was so annoyed by this little asshole [and everyone would constantly remind him that the vampire was OLDER than him; vegeta didn't fucking care because anything weaker than him shouldn't be given respect]

he let the vampire kid feed off him one night because vegeta thought it would be funny. the saiyan blood had an unexpected effect on the vampire: it was basically the equivalent of a blood espresso and the kid bounced off the fucking walls all night and vegeta thought it was hilarious.

oh yeah and there was another character that vegeta stayed with one night and when he demanded [not asked; saiyan prince and all, he's entitled to everything] a drink, the guy had nothing but alcohol in his fridge and ended up giving it to him because there was nothing left. it was awful but so, so funny; the two of them ended up watching the jerry springer show and vegeta ate a whole freezer's worth of hot pockets

i had to do a lot of slice of lifey stuff with him because he was so insanely overpowered but i didn't care at all it was so much fun and i'd do it all over again. we were just starting to pick up some action when my brother brought king vegeta in, but it didn't last too long for various reasons. it was sad, too, because his king vegeta narration was downright hilarious

I played in a game where a lot of people read each other's threads - they were waiting for a reply and wanted something to do, someone said something was funny and went to read it themselves, whatever...a few people drew scenes from threads, too, and in general there was a lot of horsing around.

My military douche was a particular target. People kept throwing weirdass shit at him (replacing everything in his office with lamps, he's lost/trapped with this person telling their life story, his medic office kept catching on fire/exploding). The characters even started talking about it, like, "What happened to that guy now?" and telling others who didn't know who he was. Some rallied to his defense and it was just a clusterfuck continuum of madness.

So...yeah. Great memories.

playing an villain who was incredibly friendly and creepy and eventually becoming semi-not-friends with an asshole sort-of good guy. they had an information exchange thing going on, and would spend a lot of time insulting one another and getting on each other's nerves and talking over one another, but the asshole good guy liked the villain enough that he'd come rescue them if they ever got into trouble and my villain character just DID NOT UNDERSTAND IT AT ALL

aaah i love these unlikely insulting friendships where neither person would really admit how much the other means to them

i used to rp on gaia online a lot. like on those "chatroom" rp's or whatever

yeah well i was playing invader zim one day and another person i was playing with started to ship him with some other alien from hetalia or something weird like that? we'd have these SUPER GRAPHIC makeout sessions or w/e and i always got a kick off of it

now it's just super embarrassing
