this looks neat! before i choose what character to app, what is the ic attitude towards sexuality like? i remember some weyrs back in the day that insisted characters be homophobic ic and that always put me off

As a former Arolos player, I can tell you that (unless it's changed DRASTICALLY) people are pretty chill both IC and OOC when it comes to sexuality! Your sexuality really only affects what color dragon you can Impress if I remember correctly.
If you're a Pern fan, I heartily recommend Arolos. Everyone there is really nice.

But yes, what she said. We're pretty chilled out. Individual characters may be homophobic but in-game (and out of game) those are viewed as weird attitudes that mostly come from transferring from a more hide-bound Weyr.
