i'm a flatview anon who's been watching this whole thing from cdc's inception. vashti burned her own ass quite a few times and yes, i'll admit that there was some pretty pointless shit brought up over her because she was just in the wrong place at the wrong time and people are thirsty motherfuckers. but her leaving cdc wasn't over her being wanked out. there wasn't any ongoing wank with her and things seemed to be going fine. she'd made plans and was waiting on pm confirmation and then she just up and quit.

this makes the probability that she flounced because she didn't like what she'd gotten as an answer pretty damn high and you don't have to be in any inner circles to figure that one out.

I might as well take the chance to clear this up:

1. I didn't drop because of the wank. I didn't even know about the latest round till after I dropped.

2. I didn't drop because of the blue mission results. I sent Gliese-mod a PM asking what they wanted to do with him, and didn't hear back before I dropped. Whatever happened would have been absolutely fine.

Because I was causing problems for the mods in their own sandbox, and the more I tried to do better, the worse it got. It's no secret I had problems with things OOCly.

I could have stayed, but I figured the right thing was to bow out. So I did. Sad to go, though.

okay so I've been tracking this thread and jesus fucking christ, Vashti

stop. stop logging in and giving anons what they want (aka more drama). you would have been better to leave well alone, leave anons to their speculations and wait for them to forget about everything. there was absolutely no reason for you to log in here, or at least not for you to keep logging in after your first comment.

I don't really have a strong opinion of you one way or another, but this is aggravating as hell to watch because you just don't know when to sit down for the sake of your own benefit.

As I said, misinterpreted.

I didn't go behind anybody's back, certainly not intentionally - it's difficult to see how I could have gone behind the mods' backs by talking to a mod. I had no intention of trying to get my own way - I was confused about what was going on, and wanted to fix that. That was all.

The reason I had no choice about dropping was, as I said, because of the very obvious problems I was causing the mods and the game. I told them after my screwup with the contract post in May that I'd rather bow out than cause them further difficulties, and it was pretty clear the time had come.

That is the opposite of what you said. You said you asked a mod about your status in the game, and judging from the reply you linked? You made it clear you were trying to validate yourself and get them to tell you to stay. The mods didn't bite and you flounced.
