Rundown: [community profile] rpanons is an anonymous community for role-play related topics. This place serves as a forum for game discussions, canon discussions, RP solicitations (ATP, game ads, open memes), and advice. The occasional off topic comment is inevitable, but please keep heated social and political topics to their respective communities. Posting them here will only get them frozen. Subsequent threads made to bypass a freeze will then be deleted.

Rules:

Do not post pornographic or shocking images.
Do not share private entries, plurks, chat logs, etc.
Do not use this community as your social/political/hatespeech soapbox.
Do not be redundant. One page does not need three or more threads on one topic/theme.
Do not treat this comm like your personal Plurk or Twitter. Off-topic happens, but it should be open for discussion and not just a play-by-play of your life. No one cares.

h/o confused lesbian here

why specificallly lesbians and not bisexual women?

(Anonymous) 2014-10-18 03:25 am (UTC)(link)
oh god why did you have to ask this

the wank will never end

because no one likes fickle bisexuals who've been tainted by the cock!!

but seriously, it's actually common for lesbians to list only lesbians on dating sites. some for bullshit reasons like biphobia etc, but most of the ones i've asked say it's to weed out the people mentioned by op, who equate being bi with being poly and assume it means you get to have "both". which is extremely common on dating sites, where a lot of women who are in committed relationships with men just want a girl on the side to experiment with (not that there is anything wrong with that in and of itself, but ignoring preferences or seeking out girls who want monogamous relationships would be shitty).

For real. I've met just as many rude, unpleasant, or pushy lesbians as I have bisexual girls. It's not like being attracted to both sexes suddenly amplifies your ability to be a brat.

yyyyup, exactly this. both the bisexual women i met online ended up wanting exactly that. one was single when i met her but also met a guy through the site around the same time, then expected me to be ok because it's "different" with men, and the second one was pretty up front about wanting that ideal poly situation (a lesbian and a straight guy means no competition for attention, apparently, because her own profile listed lesbians and straight men only)

don't hate bi girls, just the ignorant ones online

and I didn't mean to start a big thing, just wanted to vent.

People like you are why all my bisexual friends are withdrawing from the LGBT community.

I think your friend will survive not being in my online dating pool, dude. chill.

I'd slap them if they tried to date someone like you, anyway, but my comment isn't even remotely about your own personal dating life. Way to miss the point.

then you missed the point, because the comment you replied to was about their dating life, not your friends or the standing of bisexuals in the LGBT community

ayrt thinks that not being interested in dating a group of people = hating them, don't expect any kind of reasonable logic-following with this one

(for the record, i also put unemployed people and those of strong religious affiliation on my no list, so i'm bigoted scum in many, many ways. or, you know, just picky)

I won't date only children. Not bc omonly children have bad personalities but bc I want to be able to have big family gatherings, that stuff is really important to me. I also won't date parking cops :p

NGL that was my first thought. "Wait I thought only bi people got threesome spam".
