Why don't we have any indication of a timeline for when the next "development" of this plot is going to happen? I don't need a concrete end date for the event, but some kind of a road map would be nice.

I think it depends on the actions of the characters and what they do while they're in the past? That's the impression I got, at least.

That's an awful lot to keep track of, though, isn't it? The really major stuff probably needed mod approval and should already have been taken taken into account, I think. Though, TBF, if the next part is player-dependent they might still be planning the next stage of the event out.

pretty sure it's going to depend on what rin does with the journal and whether or not he opens it, which i think there's going to be a poll about at some point.

if there's desire for a poll, people better bring it up now, because given that the thread between the two is already going, it looks like the mun is only one really getting to choose.

I seriously doubt the mods are waiting on this. There wouldn't be a thread between John and Rin at all if the journal was opened. A discussion isn't happening, so there's no excuse on the mods part.

Where does it say anywhere that there wouldn't have been a conversation between John and Rin if it was opened...? The only information we had is that John would know, not that it would have become undeliverable.

I'm not saying it would be undeliverable. The point is the direction this plot goes in hinges on whether they disobey John or not. But Akai is on hiatus so her tags will be coming slow. She and Rin's player have probably already talked out the important details OOC before she left, so the mod team could get the ball moving. Therefore if the journal was opened, we'd be feeling the consequences.
