It gives the impression that people like the idea of Paradisa, but no one wants to actually invest their time/energy into working to keep the game alive.

this is one of the reasons i dropped- there were too many players left who cried about how they had to keep the game open, no matter what, accompanied by "i'd love to help, but...". they seem to want someone to come along and wave a magic wand and generate a ton of players and interest in the game and things to do with minimal effort on their part, and it doesn't work that way. and meanwhile, the few proactive people that were left were slowly trickling out to greener pastures.

i liked paradisa a lot, even if trying to generate cr and plotting was often frustrating, but without more proactive people who actually want to do things rather than handflap about how they love the game so much!!! they wish they could do more!!! but they can't!!! the game's going to keep on the downward spiral.
