I wish the game would just die out already. The previous mods should have just let it go. Even the players have such a lack of interest in the game and all the things you mentioned above is why I left myself.

It was never an issue with the game itself. The premise was good, the events were interesting and the mods even put all that work into revamping parts of it. The purpose of the revamp was with hope to bring in new blood and renewed interest. It just didn't work, but not for lack of trying. But my reason for leaving was never the game itself, it was the other players.

I was in the game long enough to observe that most the players had been there a very long time. Most the players had no interest in cr they didn't already have or with the friends they had in game. Even after the mods changed up the rules for activity I felt too many were doing closed threads only, whether private posts or logs.

Even tagging out it was too difficult to get lasting cr because there was a lack of interest. Even trying to plot with people was like pulling teeth, so I gave up and I know a lot of others that did the same. And that new blood everyone wanted so much? They never felt welcomed enough up stay and that's what has ultimately turned this game in to a ghost town.

i was in paradisa for over three years, and i never felt welcomed by anyone except for a handful of people. for as long as i was there, i had an easier time getting tags from newbies than by people i'd been in the game with for years.

i think all the people left are ones who were most guilty of being insular and cliquey. because they're like this, it's never going to improve unless new people app in... which they won't, because who would app into a dying game where nobody tags you? it's sad because the current state of the game tarnishes the memory, but on the other hand, they deserve each other.
