Man, I am always happy for new blood, but I always worry about the mods burning out. I don't think people realise just how involved this game can be until they get their hands in it, and I just think that that has to take a lot of energy to run.

Same. I think the people who complain about the monthly events are probably the people who haven't been involved in the bigger plots like Redgate or Treun. There's only one log for it all and much doesn't get mentioned on the network, so uninvolved players don't realize just how much is going on, but I'd like everyone in the game to take a look at those logs and realize just how much work on the mods' part is going on. Those plots alone are more than I'd expect from any mod, and yet they're also juggling newcomers/monthly gamewide plots/general modly duties.
