Does my cardigan look okay?

Rundown: [community profile] rpanons is an anonymous community for role-play related topics. This place serves as a forum for game discussions, canon discussions, RP solicitations (ATP, game ads, open memes), and advice. The occasional off topic comment is inevitable, but please keep heated social and political topics to their respective communities. Posting them here will only get them frozen. Subsequent threads made to bypass a freeze will then be deleted.

Rules:

Do not post pornographic or shocking images.
Do not share private entries, plurks, chat logs, etc.
Do not use this community as your social/political/hatespeech soapbox.
Do not be redundant. One page does not need three or more threads on one topic/theme.
Do not treat this comm like your personal Plurk or Twitter. Off-topic happens, but it should be open for discussion and not just a play-by-play of your life. No one cares.

- that pokémon were real and they lived in my backyard and stuff. i'd set out food for them every morning, stuff like mashed berries and honeysuckles.

- that television shows were always live. i don't know why, but i was thoroughly convinced that stuff (always live action) was actually going on at the time, so if i turned off the tv i'd miss the rest of it forever. it coincided with my belief that people were actually in the tv putting on the shows oddly.

- that these opossum bones i found in my backyard were tiny dinosaur bones. they were not tiny dinosaur bones, just so you know. i was going through my archaeologist/dinocrazy phase at the time i think.

- if i sang stuff on the toilet, then the ghosts of their composers would appear in front of me. i was literally scared shitless of this as a kid, but i hate the quiet so i'd always end up singing snatches of it and freezing up because what if francis scott key saw me peeing while i was singing the star-spangled banner.

i just grew up out of all of these (except for the third one, my mom just told me they weren't and i was like "oh... okay...").

I also thought live-action TV was always a live broadcast when I was little.
