rpanons is an anonymous community for role-play related topics. This place serves as a forum for game discussions, canon discussions, RP solicitations (ATP, game ads, open memes), and advice. The occasional off topic comment is inevitable, but please keep heated social and political topics to their respective communities. Posting them here will only get them frozen. Oh, I forgot to add: they also wouldn't necessarily have to play out any use of the pet. People could, if they're into tentacles, but as it would be solo usage (unless they brought other characters in) it wouldn't be necessary for players to provide closed-narrative posts of using the pet as any kind of proof. They would only need to inform the mods somehow that their character had used it in order to start the power regain. That should make the tentacle monster kink a little easier to bear for those not too interested in it.

still feels kind of like an ic/ooc problem in the making for me. a lot of characters wouldn't use a pet/tentacle thing and even handwaving it would bring up a lot of 'BUT WOULD X REALLY FUCK A TENTACLE??' comments that could escalate.

but it's your game idea and you're free to do what you want.
