and, i assume, we both feel bad for slaine, who has to be utterly fucked in the head by this point and is probably cloud'ing it and about to dump asseylum's corpse in an ocean. yes, princess, on earth the air and water are both colored blue, and now i will dump you in some.

god i hope tomino has stayed on his meds. i don't think i can handle kill-em-all g-reco plus kill-em-all aldnoah at the same time in winter 2015.

it had so much potential, but in the end it was visually stunning and narratively a waste of time. on to s2!!

JESUS THOUGH, dumping her in the ocean... better than going all rose for emily on her, i guess. but yes, i too still like slaine and feel for him. even if he comes back in january as the big bad of s2....

i'd dig villain slaine but man it's impossible to predict what s2 will be like. slaine could be the antagonist as easily as he could be the protagonist. he could be emperor of mars or a hermit. it could be a week in the future or fifteen years in the future.

yeah it's so up in the air. we also have no idea who is still alive, aside from slaine and probably rayet because her fight stopped short when it was time for transformers. and the ending narration was yuki, i think...? unless i misheard. other than that, everyone is such a big question mark that it could be 50 years later with vengeful old man slaine tottering around in cruhteo's kat.

flat view anon in shock and awe at this entire thread, i'm four episodes back and i just might stay that way. why would they put so much screentime into inaho in s1 and then just kill him in the finale? bizarreeeee

something about earth/inaho being the focus of s1 and mars/slaine the focus of s2. a few episodes ago i would have been looking forward to that but idk it somehow got to the point where i actually found inaho more interesting and fun to watch. that final battle vs saazbaum was pretty awesome.
