It seemed too small and nitpicky for HMD, I guess

Ok, I'm not logging in but this is Robyn. I actually really appreciate the crit even if it's a small thing. Basically, the typos are super bad on this first post since it's a combo of the plug-in fucking up, his sausage fingers stumbling all over the place, and the fact that Ramsay isn't the most literate character around. Yes, in the show, he writes a nice letter. However, in the books, it's specified that his letter to Jon is done in the handwriting of a maester except for the part written in blood which is done with cruder penmanship. Even then, it's assumed he had a maester there checking his spelling and grammar. I always intended for his network posts to gradually improve with time as he learns not to pound the keyboard so hard and take better care of what he writes even with the plug-in in effect. There's also the factor that he likes to play dumb in order to be underestimated. He spent most of A Clash of Kings aping a bad peasant accent that he sometimes dropped altogether and Theon just didn't notice. Some of his typos may very well be on purpose on top of the plug-in. Sorry for any misunderstanding and please feel free to hit me up on the game HMD!

well, let's see. someone crit her over the usage of a lot of intentional spelling errors and she explained herself. since they didn't bother to do it in her hmd, here seemed a good place to do it. no, not robyn, but jesus, you guys are fucking picky over things. 'wah, i want to bitch about this player's issues. no i can't crit them because they'll have a titty fit. whatever, they're a wanker anyway. let's shit up the favorites thread.'

Okay, honestly, criticism is fine but the favorites thread is probably the absolute worst place to give it, whether it's constructive or not.

Even if the person in question is gracious and thankful for the crit, it can create an environment where people are nervous to namedrop their favorite players lest they end up drawing negative attention to the person they like. If you feel your crit is too much of a nitpick to take to the HMD, starting a new thread here under the game's header would be better than replying to a post in the favorites thread.

or literally just take it to the HMD, because that's what they're there for

I take minor issues to friends and castmates all the time on HMDs, or just Plurk them about it. I don't start discussions on game threads about "nitpicky" issues because that'd just cast an unwarranted spotlight on both parties and that isn't what they are for.
