what i'm bitching about is not people having things i don't have. i'm bitching about people complaining about things SUCH AS their family wanting to spend time with them, as if giving their mom a few minutes of their oh-so-valuable time is the most arduous burden anyone could ever foist upon them.

And that's stupid. Sometimes you do want time to yourself. Sometimes your family can be smothering. Sometimes there are family dynamics you don't know about.

Unless you have a smother mother, you have no fucking clue what it's like to want to kill for a little privacy now and then. I'd rather have parents who didn't give a shit than deal with what I've dealt with from her, so fuck you and your misery olympics bullshit. You don't know squat, OP.
