You saying that "GaoGaiGar" is obscure breaks my heart a little.

I partially blame Media Blasters since they really, REALLY mucked up the localization. It'd probably would have been remembered more in the west had the localization gone over better. the fact they never brought over FINAL only makes things worse.

but you're awesome Mamoru-mun. If someone actually played from GGG, Mamoru would be the last character I would expect to see played, and I did lurk at GB while you were playing there, and I really liked your threads.

Thank you so much, anon! It means a lot to me, While I did really enjoy my time at GB, I only got to play there for what, 5 months? before everyone left? I was also disappointed that I posted on the HMD meme whenever it came up and I never got any crit. But I guess that's to be expected, since everybody (who would have given crit)is probably canonblind.

I just hope I can actually get into a new game, I always struggle with apps for Mamoru.

Didn't they only dub the first episode or something?

The dub was only there for like only the first 20-ish episodes, and then Media Blasters made the rest of the DVDs sub-only, re-allocating that money to Voltron DVDs. This is also why the FINAL OVA was never localized.

While I personally had problems with that dub (I disagree with the choice of Veronica Taylor to voice Mamoru.) it was mostly pretty okay.
