meanwhile playing a character as the "default" sexuality when they're not explicitly stated to be gay is... idk, how do you expect anyone to care? i cannot think of a single instance in which someone raised enough of a fuss over this that people paid attention, and even if they did, it's more likely to be dismissed as "MAD COCKHOP ALERT"

idk why you want wank to come out of virtually nothing so badly

The point is that wank CAN be over basically nothing. Still it usually requires someone to be specifically butthurt over the issue beforehand.
