Ya whatever

Rundown: [community profile] rpanons is an anonymous community for role-play related topics. This place serves as a forum for game discussions, canon discussions, RP solicitations (ATP, game ads, open memes), and advice. The occasional off topic comment is inevitable, but please keep heated social and political topics to their respective communities. Posting them here will only get them frozen. Subsequent threads made to bypass a freeze will then be deleted.

Rules:

Do not post pornographic or shocking images.
Do not share private entries, plurks, chat logs, etc.
Do not use this community as your social/political/hatespeech soapbox.
Do not be redundant. One page does not need three or more threads on one topic/theme.
Do not treat this comm like your personal Plurk or Twitter. Off-topic happens, but it should be open for discussion and not just a play-by-play of your life. No one cares.

no, i don't, because if you don't want to have anything to do with it, you don't have to click on those threads. most of it's self-contained and warned for, and literally everyone involved is also doing separate shit that would allow you to tag them without touching the abuse-fest with a 20 foot pole.

you don't get to demand that other players not play out things you're not interested in, or to dictate what the cr of your potential cr does. if you don't want to deal with armin's player's h/c fixation, just don't tag him. problem solved.

okay, you realize this game is not a jamjar, and that if there is zero fallout from any of this, those characters are being wildly OOC, right? plots don't exist in a vacuum, especially in a game where trust between characters is pretty important.

and let me be clear. i'm not tagging them. i don't even want to tag with any of them. but i can easily see why other people are having a problem with this. sure, you can do whatever you want, but this is not a musebox. they are not magically immune from criticism just because you want them to be.

no one said anyone was immune to criticism. "i don't like the thing you like playing" isn't valid criticism. if they were being wildly ooc or unrealistic, or were being inconsiderate by not warning or otherwise shoving it in people's faces (and no, talking on plurk does not count), it'd be one thing, but the complaints boil down to "stop liking what i don't like".

if you need to control your environment so that no one playing around you plays anything you don't want to see, you should stick to museboxes yourself.

holy crap, if you can't see how someone who basically uses every single plot to beat up their character isn't crossing the line between 'doing something i don't like' and 'ooc' i cannot help you.
