rpanons is an anonymous community for role-play related topics. This place serves as a forum for game discussions, canon discussions, RP solicitations (ATP, game ads, open memes), and advice. The occasional off topic comment is inevitable, but please keep heated social and political topics to their respective communities. Posting them here will only get them frozen. Subsequent threads made to bypass a freeze will then be deleted.

(Anonymous) 2014-08-08 01:27 am (UTC)(link)the villains vary from "misguided but understandable" to "power-grabbing assholes," but none are cartoonishly "HECK YEAH EVIL", and there are wonderful excellent women all over the place; the first two books are from a woman officer's pov, and the rest of the series has her son's many amazing female friends, enemies, and lovers, most of which are ass-kickers on some level or other.
they're fun light scifi/space opera type books with a lot of genre crossover (there's at least a few books you could call outright romances, some that are spy thrillers, some that are political mysteries...) and pretty much amazing
