i'm basing my facts off of characters that are from fictional settings - like movies - and how they'd appropriately interact with things. i'm also basing it on what i myself know of teenage boys and how i myself have interacted with them in inappropriate settings that were sexual. sex is sex. it's one of the main things we're genetically hardwired to want, even if we're doing it for the wrong reasons. expecting teenagers, male or female, who are sexually active and interested to rationalize that 'now might not be the best time to do this' is the problem here. they're teenagers. they do dumb things. want to know what sort of dumb things boys do? go watch camp kill yourself or jackass. expecting sex to be a safe territory from teenage or young adult stupidity is expecting far too much.
