Hello! I am looking for an artist to do a set of icons for Firesong, from the Heralds of Valdemar series by Mercedes Lackey. Unfortunately, there is next to nothing of original artwork of him (there are about... 2, maybe 3 official pieces done by Larry Dixon for the books) which means you'd have to be quite good at working from description.

Also difficult is that he wears eloquent masks, so portraying the emotions may be more challenging.

I'm looking for a non or less cartoony look, perhaps could do an anime look if the artist had the right style, but would prefer not. Happy with color or B&W. Willing, of course, to pay for quality work.
