Snores passive aggressively

Rundown: [community profile] rpanons is an anonymous community for role-play related topics. This place serves as a forum for game discussions, canon discussions, RP solicitations (ATP, game ads, open memes), and advice. The occasional off topic comment is inevitable, but please keep heated social and political topics to their respective communities. Posting them here will only get them frozen. Subsequent threads made to bypass a freeze will then be deleted.

Rules:

Do not post pornographic or shocking images.
Do not share private entries, plurks, chat logs, etc.
Do not use this community as your social/political/hatespeech soapbox.
Do not be redundant. One page does not need three or more threads on one topic/theme.
Do not treat this comm like your personal Plurk or Twitter. Off-topic happens, but it should be open for discussion and not just a play-by-play of your life. No one cares.

I want to app here so bad but it's hard trying to decide if I'm up for all the plot with a particular character. I'm not the only one with the jitters, right?

They're shutting down apps for now anon, so you'll have time to sit on it a little at least?

I'd say voicetest as much as you can; it's not a good game if you're at all shaky.

it's less the plot and more the pacing, really, because you have a lot coming at you fairly quickly and you do need to keep up with infoposts or else you'll fall behind fast

if you're already in a few games i would not advise apping. not trying to discourage you, honestly, but as it's structured right now cdc takes a lot of time and investment of energy if you really want to get involved.

if you want to app, go on and app. you have plenty of time to think about it, at least, and the game may settle when apps re-open in august/september. but it's probably going to still be pretty heavy and so that's something to consider. it's a definitely a game for the active and engaged player as opposed to the opposite.

yep, this.

as someone who had to drop the other game they were in for cdc, i can say that cdc is definitely something that you have to actively keep on top of if you don't want to feel too left behind.

it is possible to get by if your average speed is one tag a day as long as you're aware of what's going on, but otherwise, if you're the type to ignore a game for other things - cdc might not be the right game for you.

Thanks for the input! Yeah, I like to stay on top of things as much as possible, but looking at my schedule at the moment, it's probably best that I don't invest too much into preparing. Hopefully by the time apps open up again it'll either be less of a flood or I'll have some more spare time.
