DEEN's re-DEEN'd themselves a bit since the anime, I think. The movie for Unlimited Blade Works wasn't bad at all (though ufotable would still beat them at their own game if they made one).

Some of their more recent non-Nasuverse stuff has been pretty good and faithful adaptations of their respective works.

The climactic scene, the scene from which the whole movie gets its name and...Shirou never uses more than one sword. You know, the whole thing his reality marble does. Also, it looks like a piece of shit.

i remember before we had ufotable's fate/zero there were gilgamesh players who insisted that gilgamesh was transforming his weapons into beams because of the anime

the unlimited blade works movie was garbage that completely rushed past all the character development and plot from the vn to focus on fight scenes

and the fight scenes didn't even look good
