Any single cast will not be allowed to constitute more than fifteen percent of the total number of characters in the game at any time. . .

. . .Should the moderators feel like the game would benefit from the removal of the cast cap, they will discuss it with the player base. Please keep in mind that the cast cap applies to all characters under a specific branding - Marvel 616 and the Cinematic Marvel Universe will be treated as one "cast."

Yo, I just want to point out it seems counter intuitive to have a cast cap on a marvel-based game when there will probably be a huge draw for marvel-based characters. Not to mention, lumping Marvel 616 and MCU probably shouldn't happen because that makes it harder for people who read comics to app if a bunch of MCU characters come in, and vise versa. That's not even counting the doubles that will show up for popular characters such as Loki, Tony Stark, ect.

I'm not really suggesting removing the player cap, but separating the casts if this is going to be a rule that's implemented because both MCU and 616 have huge fandoms.

Also, as a general modding advice you may just want to pick a concrete number for a cast cap instead of a percentage. I can see that getting ridiculously complicated and confusing with reserves and apps, and also just the headache of having to calculate who is at 15% and who isn't every app round.

Our intention was to prevent one cast (for instance, the Marvel cast) from dominating the game before it even gets started. We do want anyone to be able to app characters from any canon and integrate as well as anyone else.

That being said, we don't know yet how big our first app round will be, which is why the cap isn't in place yet (and also why it's listed as a percentage instead of a number)! If it doesn't seem to be an issue, we will discuss it with the player base before implementing it in July.

But we do appreciate the feedback, and will keep it in mind.

I totally understand. I just thought I'd put in some feedback since a lot of player interest could potential come from the Marvel fanbase. It was just something to consider.

Either way it sounds like an interesting game! I hope it gets off the ground because I'm definitely planning on app'ing in.
