I'm thinking of putting together a Nightmare on Elm Street game, since I've seen a couple people mention they'd actually like to see that, especially if it included permadeath. There are two versions of the premise I'm considering, so I thought I'd gauge interest for both:

-An AU game (all characters in the game are teenagers born in Springwood, without any supernatural powers) based only on the first Nightmare on Elm Street movie. This would run exclusively as a short-term game.

-A semi-AU game (all characters arrive as teenagers, but there are options for preserving the canon backgrounds of characters from universes that blend with the NoESverse, and some supernatural powers may be retained) that is itself kind of an AU to Freddy vs. Jason (a matchup that could still happen if players want it to). It would include characters and concepts from throughout the franchise and its supplemental materials, including things like the idea of Nancy still existing in the Beautiful Dream and doing what she can to protect Springwood's inhabitants from Freddy, and the Fredheads cult from the early drafts of the Freddy vs. Jason script. This would work better as a long-term game, because of the flexibility and amount of player influence available in the setting, but could be tailored for a short run.

These both sound really awesome to me!

I think I'd lean more towards the second option, personally.
