which is, funny enough, hyperbole itself

it's not literally impossible, but hyperbole is commonly used in our day-to-day life. Yes, whatever, even if saying something is shit is 'hyperbole', it's still my exact opinion. 'I do not like Gunnerkrigg Court' is too muted for getting across my feelings, and 'I hate gunnerkrigg court' is way too invested. 'Gunnerkrigg Court is shit' gets across my feelings.

that's fine, in all honesty

all i was pointing out is that people are more likely to get pissed about usage of hyperbole like that compared to, say, "i despise gunnerkrigg court" or something

and my point was that they're gigantic babies if they get pissed, because it's just a fucking webcomic

it's not like i'm attacking the creator or fans of it

i just think it's a poorly made comic

probably because they like it that much and don't want to hear it compared to poop, really

it's not like this is a behavior you see strictly among fans of one particular webcomic, anon, this happens all the time over everything that someone could possibly like or dislike

but i love things a lot and if people call them shit im just like 'oh well, they didn't like it, whatevs'

and i never said this was exclusive to gunnerkrigg court
