wth are you talking about? there was a concern that no one on the green team had anything to do this month and they hadn't had anything to do last month, along with them not receiving a prize for their teambuilding exercise. this is the mods realizing they goofed up and fixing it.

they goofed? no they didn't. people threw a fit and the mods catered to them again because they can't think of their own tasks to keep them occupied

every other team got a major event or something fun to do involving one of the npcs

i'm not on green but i can kind of see how that's a problem

i'm not on green either and i agree that green got shafted, especially when everyone's getting rings, cloaks, and bikes. and green gets... the warm fuzzy feelings of building a snow fort? you can't look at that and not say that that's fucked up on the equality scale.

because only a minority of each team actually bothered to play with the team building. why should they reward characters/players that aren't playing the game.

it's more obvious with green because, as was mentioned earlier, they were the largest and most successful team building exercise out of the batch.

I didn't do the team building and my character still got a prize... just saying.

as an orange team member, i wanted to thread out the handcuffs thing but my partner went awol, leaving me in a lurch. sucks. :(

i did, and we got into contact briefly, they just vanished a few days before rewards went out and nothing ended up happening

if i had known there'd be rewards i wouldve sent the mods a message but i kept thinking they would come back.

im not mad or anything, there'll be other chances, it's just frustrating, and i hate being told that i didn't 'try hard enough' or some bullshit

that sucks anon, I feel you. :c try pinging the mods next time! my partner was away, so when they didn't respond to me after a few days I sent the mod a pm and they were happy to pair me up with someone else who was partnerless.

i'm an orange team member with a partner who's barely tagging and our thread's gone nowhere. kind of wish i'd gotten a more active partner. i like the fact that they're randomizing things and making people play with new cr, but i think there are some people that just don't want to play with that genre/fandom/medium/cast and they're pissed off they didn't get to team up with a friend so they're taking it out on their unfortunate and not at fault partner.

i feel like i'm the odd one out in my rover for exactly the reasons you mentioned. got solid map partners so it wasn't a complete bust, but my rovermates couldn't be less welcoming if they tried.

the green log was the most successful teambuilding log

they were able to build snowforts and have snowball fights and have fun

I don't see the problem here at all. they lacked the NPC interaction but tbh I would rather have been in their group, it was the best CR building opportunity

you have outposts set up. you could have organized a patrol to keep camp perimeter secure. there could be occasional shai attacks. you could have went mapping again. you could have explored stuff. why not check out the statue?

yes, there's a bunch of player stuff they can do, but green is the ONLY TEAM that's getting shafted in terms of mod interaction and prizes. every other team is getting active npcs and bonuses and green has to go make their own fun.

no one's saying they can't do that and it's great if they do, but it would be nice if the game didn't just EXPECT them to. there's a ton of shit that's going to get done throughout the entire SIX MONTH MISSION. it's nice to know ahead of time if the mods are going to make sure each team gets equal play time. green got nothing mod-run last month and up until the edit had nothing mod-run for june. they also got no rewards.

because, anon, we'd be doing all of that shit for 2 OOC months over and over again if it weren't for the update. and frankly, that's ridiculous. i get that shit happens irl all the time, but allowances should've been made for green if armada-mod couldn't make it. this update was good, though i do wonder whe the hell is green in charge of clean-up because that sounds like something everyone should be doing (clean up and defending, that is, since there's a shai attack at the time too).
