rpanons is an anonymous community for role-play related topics. This place serves as a forum for game discussions, canon discussions, RP solicitations (ATP, game ads, open memes), and advice. some people were confused over how game mechanics worked, that's literally it. it's still brand new and the kinks are still getting worked out, both on the mod end and the player end, so i wouldn't hold it against either of them in the beginning and i wouldn't say it's a matter of not being creative because i've seen plenty of that going on. the game is just structured differently (no traditional network with video, focus on player action/initiative and face-to-face stuff) and there's an adjustment period for that.

as for plot, again we just started, but it's been hinted there's a metaplot at play here beyond just blowing up planets. all in all it's still way too soon to make any sort of judgment call regarding how the game is going to be, other than fast. give it time and check back in later and we'll have a better idea then.
