Do you get the feeling that the mods bit off more than they could chew? And that they need to talk to other game mods to figure out how to handle things better?

This one's got shit for replies. The other two had a whole lot more because there was more to do with them.

No one knows what to do here and it shows. "Pirates attack" isn't going to keep the game alive.

i'm interested to see where it goes but is there any specific type of event you'd like to see?

So far two plots have been just "Pirates attack". I'd like to see more weird sci-fi shit, or some Star Trek-style diplomacy.

So get into the "stop the city from falling into the sun" part of the event?

When a Slice of Life preevent 'social thread' has more replies to it than the actual event someone's fucked up.

It did also have a whole day's head start.

I think it may have been better to go with an event that affected the characters directly, than have something happen outside. Does that make sense? Something unavoidable rather than something certain characters can go "yup, just gonna keep on with my SoL existence over here, got other shit to do."

That said, the only reason I'm not in there yet is that I'm a wee bit short on time.

Yeah... I think I am fortunate in that mine, much as he has been whinging about fighting other people's battles, IS the type to leap in.

if the last event is anything to go by there should be another part where characters can be directly affected so im not really complaining that i have to sit this one out
