how detailed are apps supposed to be? old CNC standards? I'm looking to app a character who has a really long history, think silver age, and the idea of having to summarize decades worth of canon is a little daunting.

person ingame who apped a character that first showed up in the Silver Age and the best part is you don't have to write out histories anymore (thank Christ). just sum up their history in a para or so and then slap on a wiki link for details.

most of the revisions seem to be on power clarifications and samples, if that helps

as someone who used to be in old CNC and met their standards for several characters without getting a rejection or asked to revise, it's never been as big bad as you think. when you have to summarize it, literally do just that! short is fine so long as you hit the key points. if it's REALLY important i would expound on details but it really was never as difficult as people thought it was.

i've apped lessor known characters into CNC with no issue, but those characters were at oldest from 90s comics. i'm a lot more hesitant to go into something with as much canon as the guy I'm currently looking to app, especially since I'm more familiar with the newer runs.

but it's good to hear! if there were a newer test drive I'd totally throw him in there.

I get that Win's blunt and all, but I've never actually seen anyone drop solid deets on her. Kytha barely even RPs anymore, so I don't know what the deal with her is. And Maddie is incredibly nice?

If I were to name people to watch out for at MOM, it'd be Vou, Mici, Noodles, Trek, Iola, and Olesia.
