i see them all the time and they just make me groan

as someone who lives a couple hours north of san jose, yes, this is extremely fucked up weather for us this time of year. people here are not used to it. where i am it's expected to be over 100 today when it shouldn't be more than 70-80 this time of year.

i have lived in the desert for several years too and 90 was the coolest it would get for days on end in summer. it was miserable. so i'm wondering what the hell this is as some twisted badge of pride.

like we didn't shit on the midwest when they had that polar freeze so why are we going "dur hurr my friend experiencing bad weather during their state's worst drought look how cool i am"
