Running both a general interest check and one for additional mods. tl;dr, we'd like to expand on what

hiddenbygods tried to do. There's an entire island there aside from the bathhouse, after all!

Characters arrive with the intention of working off some kind of "debt" -- this is flexible, so we'd encourage being creative! Literal debts, physical or mental debts, and so on. Whether you're signing this contract willingly or got tricked into it would also be up to you, but however this happened, your character's name is taken away (and forgotten as a result), and replaced with a work name. They're then put to work at any of the spots in the city: farmers, chefs, comedians, actors, tailors, gardeners and the like, in addition to just the sorts that would work in a bathhouse.

- Events and setting elements would be incorporated from other Ghibli movies (forest spirits from Mononoke or an event involving entertaining witch trainees or something), and would generally run the whole gamut from mundane to magical.

- Naturally, patrons are primarily Eastern spirits, but in the interest of business expansion, workers are being pulled in from anywhere they're available: Animanga, books, games, live-action, OCs, and so on. CRAUs are also allowed, to encourage or give more ideas for debts and wishes.

- Speaking of debts, a character may choose to work for another character's debt as their own (or to extend theirs), but the other character's debt may not actually go down much quicker.

- You'll be rewarded for exploring and interacting with the environment; discoveries can be made by exploring or trying different things! Characters can train under spirits to learn different trades or even earn gifts in the form of magic or special items.

- The "network" is just a glorified bulletin board, and characters may write letters to send messages privately, but face to face interaction is encouraged over both.
