There's something seriously fucked up with the current trend of treating trans men as if they're identical to cis men when it comes to the oppression. Telling somebody who's part of a demographic with a 60% suicide attempt rate to "go kill themselves" and "die" because of how they identify is not just ignorant, it's downright violent and dangerous.

you were assigned 'female' at birth and probably raised as such, meaning you've experienced sexism. And due to sexism, people are less likely to take your situation seriously. There's a lot of debate and arguing and yelling over transwomen, but you barely ever hear anything about transmen. Transwomen exist in the media, and even though they're mostly punchlines or sob stories there are at least a few instances of positive and well-written characters. Transmen just don't exist, period.

I'm not really interested in playing oppression olympics but at the very least I don't see how someone can say you have it 'better' than us. Transmen are violently oppressed too.
