rpanons is an anonymous community for role-play related topics. This place serves as a forum for game discussions, canon discussions, RP solicitations (ATP, game ads, open memes), and advice. The occasional off topic comment is inevitable, but please keep heated social and political topics to their respective communities. Posting them here will only get them frozen. yeah, yeah, i know, be the change, etc. but 9 times out of 10 a list of favorites on this thread will get comments like the one on top

Yep. I hate how the favorites thread has become the "post characters you like and then defend them from the torrent of BUT THEY'RE SO CLIQUEY/BAD/WHATEVER". back in my day we actually had favorites threads where people could respond while logged in and not get attacked.

I know this may be shocking but not only HH anons can comment to this. Anybody who wants to start shit can. Anybody can go to any favorites thread and say they suck because they're shitty or bland or cliquey. It's not that hard and you don't have to be in the game to do so.

If you want to stop feeling so "uneasy" then don't pay it any attention. I know this is a hard concept but it is that easy. Y'all are like the new Luceti. Easy to rile up.

It is kinda weird though how people can post favorites in other games just fine without those favorites being ripped apart.

that's a joke, right? the ariel threads are infamous for tearing apart favorites now. happens in plenty of other threads too if you look so no, you're not special.

i'm the anon who made that first favorites comment and i haven't made another comment on it after that because the replies are so discouraging to read :( i listed junko because i don't know much about DR and thought she was fun to read, although now i understand why she could be a complication because of how OOC she actually is but still...

i'm the same, i only know the basics of DR (to what initially happens to junko, even) and actually had a fun thread with junko myself, so even if she's ooc, at least i'm having fun playing with her

I wish the favorites threads were more active in general. The last few game threads have been full of the same wank and it's getting boring. I'd rather hear about who's actually fun to tag than the latest brand of Cynthia and Junko. Has anyone contacted the mod or gone to their HMD?

The mod can't do anything about the favorites thread, but as far as I know I've only seen complaining about Cynthia and Junko. I don't know either canon so I can't properly complain aside from the Cynthia's OOC behavior (like posting PAly on dear mun) about her.

If you know the canon, get on it. You can talk to the mod with IP off and anon on!

I'm not in HH but I saw this comment and I just want to say, it isn't just HH who is getting this. People have been routinely doing this on other games favourites lists as well, so it's become a general attitude.
