Though I hardly see how saying "I'm gay/ace/bi" or whatever is telling people whom you have sex with (or don't) or how much. Because I'm gay but it doesn't mean I automatically fuck every woman I see nor does the asexual automatically scream for hours about how much sex they aren't having

unless it's tumblr but I don't count that for anything

I've been single for years and I've never had anyone spread rumors or try to set up dates for me. In fact, I've never had anyone push it any further when I answered "No, not at the moment" to the question "Are you seeing anyone?"

The vast majority of people really don't care as much as you think they do.
