They don't. LGBT is defined by nontraditional interaction with gender, either one's own or one's partner's, and asexuality doesn't have that.

Recently people who do not fit that category have been trying to force the LGBT/queer label open in order to fit themselves into it -- but sorry, being asexual doesn't make you queer.
