okay as a person who's never gone to a con you've got to explain this to me, yaoi paddles?

Imagine a wooden boat oar. But with "yaoi" or uke or seme painted onto it. This is a thing people buy.

and if they were obnoxious enough they'd try to paddle you. i've seen people get chased down. once a gay guy who was running a doujinshi booth made me foddle his paddle before i could look in the bins.

I am so glad Sakuracon banned yaoi paddles ages ago, now if they would get that obnoxious Yaoi Booth guy to shut the hell up - I rather not have my predilications get broadcast to half the dealer's room.
