Rundown: [community profile] rpanons is an anonymous community for role-play related topics. This place serves as a forum for game discussions, canon discussions, RP solicitations (ATP, game ads, open memes), and advice. The occasional off topic comment is inevitable, but please keep heated social and political topics to their respective communities. Posting them here will only get them frozen. Subsequent threads made to bypass a freeze will then be deleted.

Rules:

Do not post pornographic or shocking images.
Do not share private entries, plurks, chat logs, etc.
Do not use this community as your social/political/hatespeech soapbox.
Do not be redundant. One page does not need three or more threads on one topic/theme.
Do not treat this comm like your personal Plurk or Twitter. Off-topic happens, but it should be open for discussion and not just a play-by-play of your life. No one cares.

do you have a mod-directed plot in mind? would it be mostly player-driven plots? focused on exploration?

i was kind of thinking that it'd be mod-driven plots, but with lots of them laid down-- and the others not really expiring. so if, say, the players choose to pursue Quests A, F, and G, Quests B thru E would continue to be A Thing, and not going after them would effect the setting. maybe not immediately, but logically. and, in reverse, player actions would actually be meaningful.

there'd probably be some behind-the-scenes influence tracking, to reward playing actively and getting shit done and threading with npcs, as well.

it would be a very mod-intensive game, though. you probably wouldn't want more than 15 characters per mod on the modding team, if that many...

Make that two! Would you cap powers??

prrrrobably. Not super low caps-- you could probably slip, say, most popular superheroes in unaltered, but characters with god-like powers (or god-slaying powers) would probably need to be toned down, if anyone wanted to play them.
