I'm so intimidated by this game and I don't know why. I want to tag around and make CR, but I don't know anyone and I'm worried they won't welcome it.

we have a brand new cr meme up, anon. since you don't know anyone, take a look at their characters, what they're doing, and what they'd like to achieve in game. if your character can fit into any of that, comment to them and toss around ideas. if you come up with something, follow through by asking if they plan on putting up a post or if you should. ask when they'd like it to happen so you know they aren't swamped with other things. and boom, before you know it, you have cr!

I've had this problem as well, partly because the game is quite a bit bigger than it appears to be in addition to my not knowing anyone coming in, but the above anon gave good advice. The CR meme just went up, so you can use that, or be brave and tag someone you don't know when you see an open post go up!

I tagged a few people at the CR meme, and they all seemed very open for plotting!

Everyone in that game is friendly and open to interaction and plot! All you have to do is put yourself out there and I guarantee you'll get tagged back. A good option would be to tag other people's posts as well as writing up your own open post. Nobody here bites and everyone is having fun. They want you to have fun, too!

Not to be a jerk and I'm not even in the game, but "tag out and also make your own posts" is not very good advice, anon. That's what everyone should be doing in every game already.

Again, I'm not in the game, but if OP is feeling intimidated by the OOC atmosphere, do you guys have group chats on AIM or are you active on plurk? I always find that chatting with my game mates helps break the ice and makes it easier to tag them.

I find the OOC atmosphere friendly and open, it's not always easy to be new in a game, but my experience here has been good so far. I think a lot of playerbase has plurk,
